About the Role:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Success Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers' success and satisfaction. With a major customer base in North America and Europe and a growing presence in other regions, you will manage and deepen relationships with our SMB and enterprise clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from Ambee's climate data solutions. You will be responsible for driving renewals, upsells, and cross-sells and will serve as the primary point of contact for all customer needs.

As a key team member, you will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering to ensure seamless onboarding, deployment, and ongoing customer support. Your insights will help shape the future of our product offerings, as you will be the voice of the customer within Ambee. A strong understanding of Sales CRM, especially HubSpot, is essential for tracking and managing customer success metrics.


Role Responsibilities:

  1. Own Customer Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with key SMB and enterprise clients, primarily in North America and Europe, ensuring their success with Ambee's data solutions.
  2. Drive Account Growth: Lead efforts to expand account value through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, working closely with internal teams to ideate new use cases.
  3. Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding and deployment to ongoing usage and support, leveraging CRM metrics to track progress.
  4. CRM Management: Utilize HubSpot and other sales CRM tools to monitor customer health, churn rates, MRR, ARPU, and expansion opportunities, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  5. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Address and resolve customer issues proactively, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  6. Billing and Metrics Reporting: Provide regular reports on billing metrics and trends and recommend improvements to senior leadership.
  7. Process Development: Maintain a ticketing system for key accounts and manage customer escalations effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:


  1. 3-5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, with a focus on SMB and B2B enterprise clients in North America and Europe.
  2. Strong understanding of Sales CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, and experience with CRM metrics such as churn, MRR, ARPU, expansion, and advocacy.
  3. Experience managing relationships with senior management teams from global enterprises (F500), especially within mature (Series B+) SaaS startups or enterprises.
  4. Experience in Technology/SaaS companies, particularly those in the climate or environmental data space, and working with pharma clientele is a plus.
  5. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  6. Bilingual proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
  7. A passion for addressing climate change and a strong sense of ownership with an excellent work ethic.
