Job Description


NBC Sports Next is where sports and technology intersect. We’re a subdivision of NBC Sports and home to all NBCUniversal digital applications in sports and technology within our three groups: Youth & Recreational Sports; Golf; and Betting, Gaming & Emerging Media.  


At NBC Sports Next, we make playing sports better through innovative technology and immersive experiences for athletes, coaches, players and fans. We equip more than 30MM players, coaches, athletes, sports administrators and fans in 40 countries with more than 25 sports solution products, including SportsEngine, the largest youth sports club, league and team management platform; GolfNow, the leading online tee time marketplace and provider of golf course operations technology; GolfPass the ultimate golf membership that connects golfers to exclusive content, tee time credits, and coaching, tips; TeamUnify, swim team management services; GoMotion, sports and fitness business software solutions; and NBC Sports Edge, a leading platform for fantasy sports information and betting-focused tools.

NBC Sports Next includes three groups. This role is part of our Golf group.


Golf fuses the team behind products and services like GolfNowTeeOff and GolfPass, which better connects golfers and golf facilities around the world through innovative solutions like cloud-based golf course management and SmartPlay contactless technology and services that create optimum golfing experiences.

The Customer Success Specialist will assist the GolfNow Sales team in managing multiple existing accounts with the goal of maximizing client satisfaction, account retention, and increasing the adoption of NBC Sports Next suite of products and services.

Job Duties


  • Provide ongoing and effective communication of account status to manage customer expectations.
  • Develop customer relationships that promote retention and alignment of client goals.
  • Drive adoption of the 6 core products including Platform, Plus, Answers, Technology, Premium Marketing, and ClubBuy.
  • Implement strategic business initiatives to expand the range of offerings for our customers.
  • Working with Partners to support and help develop plans to operate their business daily.
  • Review performance of distributions channels and recommend pricing and yield strategies to increase partners revenue.
  • Ensure a positive, consistent customer experience and successful first year on the D2C platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, specifically the greater GolfNow Sales team, Activations, and Plus Business Services team.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications


  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of team trust and confidence
  • Ability to deliver on the responsibilities of the role and responding to inquiries in a timely manner


    Desired Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field preferred
    • Reliable with the ability to work in a professional office setting, remotely and independently without direct supervision in a demanding, fast paced, deadline driven environment
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt, learn new skill sets, and gain a thorough understanding of operational challenges
    • Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivated and curious
    • Strong team player
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • E-Marketing Experience
    • Client Management Experience
    • Sales development and/or strategy experience a plus
    • Online distribution experience a plus

    Additional Job Requirements


    • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
    • Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL
    • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
